Directions

Leave M5 at Junction 16 and head for Thornbury on the A38. After 300m on the brow of the hill, turn left at sign for Lower Almondsbury.

Descend and turn right opposite the Almondsbury Garden Centre. Pass the Forge, School and Church and as the road bends left, turn left at the signpost marked ‘Townsend’ into The Pound.

Follow this road and filter left into Townsend Lane and continue for 100m until the road appears to narrow by two cottages with no front gardens. Third house past these is my house, number 42. The five bar gate should be open, please pull on to the drive.
